Did you know that 30 cents from the sale of every 200g Signature Blend coffee tin goes to Children's Hospital Foundations Australia?

In December 2007, The Coffee Club stores around Australia launched an ongoing charity initiative 'Changing Children's Lives' to which 30 cents from the sale of every 200g signature blend take home coffee tin worth $8.90, will be donated to aid sick children. Teamed up with the Children's Hospitals Foundation Australia (CHFA), The Coffee Club aims to help the thousands of children who rely on their network of facilities to deliver breakthrough treatments, cures and support programs.

All monies raised from our initiative will be evenly distributed to the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation Qld, Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation NSW, Royal Children's Hospital Foundation Vic, Women and Children's Hospital Foundation, SA and the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation WA.

Upon joining The Coffee Club as Marketing Manager, Jessica Spee was pleasantly surprised to see that The Coffee Club community invests a great deal of money, time and dedication to charity.

"The Directors' attitudes towards the community and groups in need are endearing, and it is with this leadership that you see a following of very dedicated employees and Franchisees who make copious amounts of coffee throughout the year, support numerous established charity groups and encourage young and upcoming talents to get to their goal. It's a marketers dream being involved with The Coffee Club, and in particular, seeing the amount of donations and support for Children's Hospitals in Australia", said Spee.

The idea behind the cause-related initiative was the vision of Director Emmanuel Kokoris.

"The Coffee Club has proudly supported all of the children's hospitals in Australia since 1989, so it seems only natural for Corporate Office and our Franchisees to become involved in an ongoing initiative linked to our offering of excellent coffee. It is also important for Emmanuel Drivas and myself who have been directly touched by the efforts of our Children's Hospital during the early stages of our own children's lives", said Kokoris.

So pop into any of The Coffee Club's stores to bring the excellent coffee taste home and to invest in the lives of our children.
